Love Sailing in Istrian Town of Pula
Pula is known for many unique features. It is a home to one of the most preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world, a locality which is still in use today and makes every event that much spectacular. Yet, this Croatian city is also renowned for its sailing competitions. One of the most recently concluded was organized by local sailing club Vega, which traces its existence up to 19th century.
The event is organized every year, and gathers more than 500 sailing experts from different countries of Europe. These competed in Optimist, Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4,7 and 470 classes. In addition of being an inspiring sight to witness on Pula shores, the competition provided our photo team with some truly great images. Check them out in our gallery below, and consider visiting the lovely City of Pula.
