There are no official confirmations at this time, but it has been acknowledged that a large film production will take place in Istria during April. The foreign company has already recieved location permits for making the movie, while the crew will be stationed in prestigious Istrian Hotels Monte Mulini, Lone and Grand Park Hotel Rovinj.

While nobody can confirm that this movie-making caravan is indeed tasked with making The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, timetables seem to confirm this. In addition to London and some locations in Italy, Croatia has been signed as one of the filming places for this movie.

As for the film itself, it is a sequel to a 2017 sleeper hit action-comedy  The Hitman’s Bodyguard. Dealing with the intrigues in the world of hitmans and bodyguards, the movie managed to earn more than 170 million dollars in Box office alone (compared to $70 million cost of production).  Director Patrick Hughes and screenplay writer Tom O’Conner ally their wits once more, this time putting their heroes against nationalistic leader that aims to release personal vendetta on entire European continent.

Be it true or false, if you are a fan of aforementioned celebrities it may be a good choice to visit Istria in upcoming time. You never know who you might meet on a coffee terrace in Rovinj.
