The Istria Times Sinke

Dreams do come true, if one is willing to invest passion and dedication. Family Muric from Istria learned this, once they were given Arthur award for best family hotel in 2015. Their four-star staying place is called Hotel La Grisa, and you can become its guest in the friendly settlement of Bale in Croatia’s Istria region. However, the path to this achievement was long. Just the renovation of the hotel took seven years, but once the doors were opened, no guest left unsatisfied.

The interior was designed by ZooMararhitekti experts Dragan Marinic and Mauro Zalijani. Separated in two parts, the hotel has nineteen classy rooms, two restaurants, café bar and private wellness center. Situated in historically important area of Istria, Hotel La Grisa had to respect the architectural tradition of its surroundings, and was being updated under close surveillance of local conservatory office. Technically being a set of separated residences, the hotel has some rather attractive unique features, including an old stairway and a well that is over two centuries old.

Despite keeping its history alive, Hotel La Grisa is equipped with modern appliances and contemporary designs. It is a perfect spot for prolonged stay on Croatian coast and a great home-away-from home while exploring the beauties of Istrian peninsula. Feel welcome to schedule your stay on the locality’s official website  or explore the charms right away in our image gallery below.
