The gorgeous Adriatic sceneries have greatly added to feeling of spectacle and increased the fame of the country across the globe. In a way, the much-loved sequel to Mamma Mia is a filmic postcard from Croatia sent to every viewer of the film. We were naughty in our own way, and sent our photo teams to spy on the filming set while it was active on Adriatic Shores.

The success of the movie is still generating fame for Island Vis. The latest achievement is destination’s inclusion to candidates for this year’s European Film Location Award. It is recognition of one locality’s filmic appeal and influence it gained in the world of seventh art.
