Visit the Classy Villa on Biokovo Slopes

The slopes of Biokovo Mountain hide many beautiful places, one of them being a charming villa that we present today. The estate can be found in the village of Bast, which features less than 150 inhabitants and almost 600 years of history. Surrounded with pristine nature and old churches, this old villa tracks its existence up to 17^th century.

The classy residence belongs to a couple from neighboring Makarska town, which spent numerous years in renovating their summer retreat. The house has several notable features, such as having a narrow street called kala leading to their front porch and windows made from local pine wood. Most of the furniture was made by owners themselves, as they have experience in carpentry.

The interior is decorated with old items that were used in the region’s past. These were acquired in local stores and antique fairs. Some items, however, were brought from abroad, but settled perfectly in the traditional Croatian interior.

The owners have more plans for the house, yet it is unknown whether they include rental to guests. For now, let it be an inspiration for your arrival on the slopes of Biokovo.
