Croatian City of Trogir has gained a new recognition. Not only it is the best preserved Romano-Gothic city of Central Europe, it is among the world’s most promising destinations based on TripAdvisor website. Being in company of beautiful settlement such as Ishigaki in Japan or magnificent Casablanca in Morocco is no small honor, yet the ancient Croatian city is well worth of such praise.

Trogir is situated in the very heart of Dalmatia region, its historical core being protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Literally every visitor lauds the unique historical atmosphere that awes on every step. In a sense, Trogir is a large outdoor museum of Mediterranean past, welcoming its guests into lovely stone paved streets that lead to landmarks such as Cathedral of Saint Lawrence or Benedictine monastery dedicated to Saint Nicholas. Of course, the attractive military fort of Kamerlengo is not to be missed as well.
