Take a Selfie in Matejuska Cove
Did you know that taking selfies in Croatia just became even easier? For starters, all you have to do is head for Matejuska Cove and visit its recently installed technological feature called look@.
Matejuska is a small gathering place for Split fisherman that also serves as a port and a promenade to local people. Because of its popularity, it gained the honor to host the first selfie-making pylon in Croatia. An invention of Luka Vukovic, this solar-powered machine can help you make a gorgeous photograph of yourself in Dalmatian port.
The machine operates with help of a special mobile application. The users just install it and take a selfie. The software quickly produces four photographs that are ready to be shared with other people. It also allows designing a postcard, and all services are free of charge.
“After two years of hard work, sleepless nights and lots of ups and downs, I managed to finish this project and present look@ to my city,” Vukovic explained, happy that his invention has immediately gained users. From what is known at the moment, several other places will receive look@ devices including Poljud and Prva Vidilica site.
If you snap a selfie photo of yourself in Matejuska cove, be sure to share it on our Facebook Wall.
