Summer Heats are not an Issue in Zadar

The hottest time of the year may be a challenge to some people, but having Adriatic Sea in the background surely makes things easier. The refreshment is just one jump away, as are usual types of summer entertainment such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving or playing picigin.

People currently residing in Zadar know these things very well. Once the thermometer stretches the red line in height, it’s time to pay a visit to local beach resorts. Which doesn’t mean that one can’t have a splash next to town’s coastal promenade or the intruging Sea Organ installation.

But Zadar is not just swims and dives. The beautiful Dalmatian settlement is a home to fascinating Museum of Illusions that can twist your senses,  while its historical core can teach you a lot about town’s  past days and peak moments. Also worth noting are Zadar sunsets, which inspired even the famous film director Alfred Hitchcock.
