The Adriatic Times Sinke

Fans of naval voyages will certainly value their time on Piskera, an island in the middle of Kornati Archipelago. Having no human inhabitants, it is an isolated haven that can provide a relaxing and fulfilling stay in Mediterranean outdoors. Surrounded with other isles that partake in Kornati National Park, Piskera has a modern marina that can host up to 150 vessels. There is also a restaurant serving local delicacies, so you don’t have to count on your fishing nets for a tasty meal. The island is also tied to Croatian religious tradition, a Catholic procession with boats that is organized by inhabitants of neighboring Dugi Otok Island. Tourists are welcome to join the procession no matter their religious backgrounds, and the celebration is taking place every year on the last Sunday of July.
