One of the most unique ships in the world, the Swedish vessel Royal Clipper, is enjoying the hospitality of waters around Korcula Island in Croatia. The large tall ship is traditionally routing Mediterranean seas in summer season and is no stranger to Adriatic coasts.
Royal Clipper is one of the biggest sailings ships in the world, listed in Guinness World Records as the largest square-rigged vessel in service. She has more than 5200 square meters of sail, yet can be easily operated by crew of merely twenty members due to specially designed control mechanism.
Always an inspiring naval mean of transport, Royal Clipper will continue her voyages around world seas. Yet, we are sure this wasn’t her last arrival to Korcula shores.
