Read Why Nugal Beach is Rising in Fame

Many Croatian beaches are gaining buzz across the world, but one immediately catches the eye. And no, we are not talking about Zlatni Rat, although the description suits it well. This time, however, Nugal beach is in the center of world’s attention. It is located between settlements of Tucepi and Makarska in Croatian region of Dalmatia, and judging from the recent reviews, it may become the reason for some people to visit the country.

One of more recent mentions arrived from Evening Standard which called it a peaceful haven and included it on its list of Europe’s most beautiful beaches (Stiniva of Vis also reached the list). In addition, Nugal beach was recommended by Europe’s Best Destinations and CNN.

Situated on shores of crystal-clear Adriatic, this beach is close to a tiny forest that provides natural shade. High cliffs dominate one of its sides, while white pebbles cover its soil. Nugal is imagined as a naturalist locality, meaning that clothes are optional and everyone is invited to connect with nature.

A small stream is descending through a waterfall in vicinity, adding even more to the charm of surroundings.  By all means, if you find yourself exploring Dalmatian coast in the future, invest some time in finding Nugal and its astonishing landscape.
