Observe Veliki Slap Waterfall from New Vantage Point

There are many beautiful things to see in Plitvice Lakes National Park. One of Croatia’s most well-known destinations is a gorgeous landscape full of natural splendor and lovely outdoor sceneries. The large waterfall called Veliki Slap is especially attractive, and many visitors arrive solely to witness its fascinating look.

Thanks to a large number of arranged promenades and pathways, reaching Veliki Slap was never a challenge. However, there is always room for improvement. In order to make access to the spot even more reliable, local management ordered a construction of a new vantage point.

The works have been recently completed, and the new feature of Plitvice Lakes is ready for all visitors. The opening ceremony was attended by Croatian minister of Environment Tomislav Coric and Minister of Tourism Gari Capelli.
