Bridges can’t be described as natural sights, but they surely help those to shine in new colors. Lights of Krk Bridge are, indeed, a sight to observe and enjoy. The large construction opened its gate in 1980, and at the time had the largest arch in the world, counting 390 meters between mainland and small isle of Sveti Marko- which is located in the very center of Krk channel .To be perfectly accurate, the bridge still has the largest arch of ferroconcrete in the world. Interestingly enough, some historians suggest that bridge existed on the same spot even during Medieval Ages. If it is true, than one can only imagine what its wooden structure looked like.
