Excite in the Storms of Ciovo

It is easy to fall in love with Island Ciovo. The romantic destination is connected with continental soil with bridge crossing to Trogir Town. It has just several settlements on its premises, these being Okrug Gornji, Arabanija, Slatine, Okrug Donji, Arbanija, Zedno and Ciovo.

The island is attracting visitors with its beautiful coastal sceneries and points of historical value. In past, a lot of hermits have chosen Ciovo as their place for seclusion and prayers. This is also the  reason why a number of churches have been contructed, including one dedicated to our Lady of Prizidnica which was constructed in 1546.

Ciovo is especially attractive during summer season. However, during other times of the year it still retains some of its charm. Even when hit by a storm, the destination offers some impressive sights- especially to photographers that are unafraid of rain and wind.
