There are but a few Hollywood movie stars of the 60s and the 70s who haven’t been guests in the restaurant Zvonimir in Otočac. Well, on the movie screen, to be perfectly honest, since this used to be a movie theatre. Zvonimir Ostović bought it in the 80s, but the war started soon and what was to become a restaurant was turned into a Red Cross warehouse. But Zvonimir was persistent in his plan and finally succeeded.
Unlike many of her fellow colleagues, who left the continent for the seaside, the chef Ana Brajković did quite the opposite. When she perfected the specialties from Lika, schnitzel stuffed with prosciutto, pancetta and sour pickles, deer and boar stew with polenta, she dedicated herself to trout from the river Gacka.
