Zlatne gorice is actually an excursion site which, besides abundant portions, offers additional attractions, such as wine road, labyrinth garden, children’s park… The story starts with the wine cellar where the guests are greeted with a wood plate, which is actually a load of sliced meat and cheese. It is usually followed by a honey grappa (Croatian: medovača).

The concept of the chef Miljenko Borak in this site differs from the one in the Varaždin restaurant. The portions are bigger, food is prepared on goose or pork lard, and they also have their own garden with fresh fruit and vegetables.

The menu is changed seasonally, and the chef himself recommends corn bread and fried frog.
