The village Livade is the capital of Istrian white truffles. It was only natural that their greatest producer, Giancarlo Zigante should open an elegant restaurant dedicated to this precious subterraneous mushroom. Restaurant’s interior is close to Spanish haciendas and cherishes a cosy, rustic feel helping you to eliminate all city-related stress in the blink of
an eye. The chefs Denis Benković and Sanela Haračić stick to the simple recipe: high quality cuisine with a discrete note of truffles in each dish (even in the ice cream) and a menu adapted to seasons of the year. The rich wine bar, run by the sommeliers Željko Mazalović and Žarko Mitrović offers selected wines whose origin well exceeds the Istrian peninsula.
