On the hills of Medvednica you will find a road sign directing you to the steep slope up to the restaurant Tač. It cannot be found easily, but do not give up, because it certainly is worth visiting. Interior is cosy, with family atmosphere, partly because the restaurant is situated in a family house. The menu hardly exists, since it changes daily, depending on the season and the groceries found on the market on a certain day. The cuisine is traditional, mostly continental and Istrian. They offer several types of grilled meat, Istrian ox included, home made pasta with truffles and  asparagus. On Fridays, fish is served (codfish, fish pate, fresh fish), lamb or veal on weekends. The family Miletić Tač prepare their own liqueurs and winter food provisions.
