This year the Slavonska kuća restaurant turns 18, but it matured long before that. This restaurant has always been a synonym for good food in Osijek, courtesy of legendary caterer Geza Gudulin. His shepard’s stew, and a good sense of traditional party time with live music and dirty jokes, spread the news of this restaurant across Croatia. Today is no different.
The restaurant is now www.slavonskakuca.com managed by Tomislav Barić, Geza’s student and a waiter. He has taken upon himself to carry on the tradition of good food prepared by a well-tuned team with Ljiljana Kuruc as the chef. Do not miss out on fish stew or perkelt, or Geza’s fish sausage. And, if you’re a merry bunch, don’t be surprised if they organize a tamburitza band just for you.
