Description

Only five minutes spent on the terrace of the restaurant Pri zvoncu will make you forget that you are in the middle of Zagreb and only 50 metres from the six-lane city motorway. Surrounded by deep greenery, with cosy benches and an open fire place in the corner, the summer terrace is its main asset – along with abundance of well prepared food with home made feel. If you ask the owner, Dorotea Kozarić, what to order, the answer is quite simple: barbecue. Everything is popular: pork tenderloin, ćevapi (minced grilled meat), pljeskavica (patty minced grilled meat), vješalica (stuffed pork meat), pletenice (pork tenderloin with pancetta), beef steak, and the traditional Zvonac rump steak ordered by the kilogram (more precisely, by decagrams).
