Gresna Gorica

Literally translated, Gresna Gorica means ‘The Sinful Hill’. The name was given because young noble couple from Middle Ages used to secretly meet in the region, enjoying their love which was forbidden due to social reasons. Today, you can enjoy prime continental cuisine in a traditional klet restaurant. Surrounded with green valleys and decorated with hand-made art, Gresne Gorice is a great way to experience Zagorje part of Croatia. One of the special features is a large barrel, which could store up to 7000 liters of wine, turned into a dining area for guests. Visitors are advised to visit Veliki Tabor castle in the vicinity.
