Start your meal with bruschetti or carpaccio. Our recommendation: homemade ravioli with curd cheese in shrimp and wild asparagus sauce.

All roads leaving the historical centre of Zadar lead to the Foša restaurant. Moreover, this location offers lots of available parking spaces closely to the restaurant. The Foša restaurant fosters a country side atmosphere we admire in movies, with a shaded, white terrace hovering clear seas. This picture works perfectly during the day and during the night, when its beauty is enhanced with good lightning. And there’s nothing more logical when sitting with your feet dipped in the clear sea then to hold a sea food based menu in your hands. Foša is well known for its fish specialties, but prepares all food with same diligence. Do you want to know how to prepare all these delicacies? Well, one wall is made of glass so feel free to sneak a peek into their kitchen.

‘We insist on a fair approach to our guests, and our services are of equal quality, no matter the time of the year,” Damir Tomljenovic of Fosa Restaurant Management explains. He is also an author of several meals on the menu, including much-loved finger food snacks consisting of shrimp, asparagus and skuta cheese.

Located next to the Adriatic Sea, Fosa shares its name with a small local harbor. It can usually be found on the top lists of Dalmatian restaurants.  When entering, the guests are passing by a large open-fire grill, situated next to a glass wall. They can also see the hard working crew of Fosa’s kitchen, eagerly prepping their orders with fresh ingredients. The terrace is surrounded with sea, while a small dock has been constructed for boats. These are usually used by yacht owners, who are also frequent visitors.
