Bird milk must be the only food which Ivan Srakovčić hasn’t mentioned when he was giving us the list of all specialties coming out of his hotel Korana Svraković in Karlovac.


Several types of pasta and bread, over 40 types of cakes and cookies, local specialties with venison and mushrooms, beef steak prepared a dozen ways, fish and exotic meals such as quail meat and lamb chops in chocolate.


More than thirty years of experience in restaurants is infused into in these recipes and over a century of this magnificent building, located right between Zvijezda (Karlovac century old centre), on which it is leaning, and the peaceful river Korana, on whose banks it is lying.
