The Skradin Silk Maker Alley – Skradin had silk makers back in the days – that’s where you’ll find the Cantinetta restaurant, ten meters east from the city entrance. Cantinetta is a refined, tasteful place. Top meal of the house is the Skradin veal risotto, slowly stewed for ten to twelve hours, poured with rooster and beef stock. This risotto is pre ordered, and it’s always served to bigger groups only. Grey mullet soup usitno, Prokljan black fish and prawns black risotto, koprtlja – lamb stomach with pancetta cooked with winter cabbage. The owner and chef, Tome Racunica, is known for picking his own wild asparagus.
