Balon

Terrace is what Balon is firstly visited for. Located at Prisavlje, right next to Boćarski dom, this relatively new restaurant Balon (named after the  nearby balloon-shaped building) has quickly become the favourite place for weekend, spring and summer lunches. Far away from the city crowds and close to the Sava bank, the big terrace surrounded by plants creates the feel of an excursion site although you are but a few minutes drive from the city centre. Apart from the rich classic selection of meat and pastas they offer, the menu will pleasantly surprise you with seasonal dishes and selection of organic food and drinks. Steaks are restaurant’s specialty, with Balon steak, covered in butter and truffles being the most popular one.
