Alas

Today’s Alas is a true family story. The restaurants beginnings go as far back as 1972. Today, it is held by the Tucak family. Father Vinko takes care of the supplies, mother Heda is the chef and their son Dinko the restaurant manager. They play the family card with their guests, too, and they seem to like that. Fish tailors their menu, and Dinko will be the first to recommend house specialty – pikeperch à la Helda. This dish was carefully thought of and prepared by his mother, the chef. Do not miss the catfish and fresh vegetables stew perkelt Alas or pikeperch under a baking bell. If you want a dessert, you’ll be offered the Esseker cake with dried plums and cheese, and if you are not fish lover, you can always enjoy other homemade, local-style stews.
