He was the mentor of a great number of young cooks who are now managing restaurants throughout Dalmatia.

‘Ma:Toni ‘is a popular place among the locals throughout the year and for the reason that in an attractive city such as Split quality and prices vary very often. Here one can eat well all year round and the best local foodstuff is mixed with the tastes of world cuisines, and the weekly menu always offers something new and interesting.

The wine prices in town, direct and friendly staff, and all that accompanied by the sounds of bossa nova, jazz and funk on loudspeakers – all that is Ma:Toni.

Tavern ‘Nevera’
