European continent is ready to celebrate spring season as it should be: warm, sunny and comfortable. The party starts in the kitchen, so if you are keen to explore the fine tastes of year’s warmer period, here is a good way to do it. Follow this recipe, and you’ll be enjoying roasted potato in fresh onion crème for lunch time. And what a lunch will it be.

What you will need

1 kg potato

7 cloves of fresh garlic

2,5 dcl sweet cream

5 dcl milk

130 g grader cow cheese (sheep cheese will do fine, too)



Grated nutmeg

2 spoons of butter

Roasted Potato in Fresh Onion Crème Preparation

In a small bowl, cook garlic cloves in 2 dcl of milk until they soften. Once this is accomplished, chop them thoroughly using a hand blender. In a larger bowl, combine milk with sweat cream and garlic crème. Heat everything on the medium flame.

Peel the potatoes and cut them on small slices. Put them in the larger bowl, together with some butter. Add more milk- its quantity must cover the potatoes completely. At this point, add the spices (salt, pepper and some finely grated nutmeg).

Proceed with coking until the compound boils, then lower the fire’s intensity. Stir occasionally until the potato softens a bit. Take the roasting pan, cover its bottom with the butter, and put all the ingredients inside. Cover the dish with grated cheese, and put in the pre-heated oven at 180 °C. Do so until the meal receives a crusty golden-brown color.
