Like Croatia Sinke

Oh, the charm of having cheese cakes in tiny glass jars! Every shelf in the fridge looks like something coming from the story of Hansel and Gretel. If you plan to add fable flavor to upcoming season, here is a good recipe with Croatian touch.

What you will need:

200 g biscuits without stuffing

125 g butter

300 g mascarpone cheese

100 g white chocolate

250 ml sweat cream

150 g sugar powder

2 pockets of gelatin

4 spoons of sugar

300 g of maraschino cherries

A Cake topping

200 ml cherry juice

What you will do:

Crush the biscuits, and mix with butter which you previously melted. Pour this mixture on the bottoms of glass jars. Don’t insert them in the fridge at this point, as coldness will thick the layer to uneatable state. Pour cold water over gelatin and leave it to swell.

Use steam to melt the chocolate. In a separate bowl, mix cheese with sugar powder and insert melted chocolate while stirring strongly. On a very low flame, melt the gelatin and immediately insert it into the cheese compound, using hand mixer along the way. Make some cream, and add it too.

Now, pour the cheese mixture in the jar, forming a new layer over biscuits. Wait a few minutes, and it will thicken, after which you should put cherries on top. Now all you have to do is to pick your topping, and sprinkle it over cherries. Refrigerate and serve cold.
