Farewell summer of 2014! To many visitors of Croatia, you will be remembered as a season of delightful sea entertainment and cultural uplifting. But Croatia is not only a summer destination, and the upcoming fall has its merits for anyone interested in visit. Let’s celebrate its arrival with the following dish.
What you will need:
250 g chicken drumsticks
250 g pumpkin
2 clips of sweet corn
1 clove of garlic
1 tomato (larger size)
1 handpick of chive
What you will do:
Remove bone and skin from drumsticks, and optionally slice them on larger parts. Cleanse the onion and cut it on small cube-like pieces. The same procedure goes for pumpkins. As for corn, clean the clips using a sharp kitchen knife. Boil some water, and splash tomatoes with it, removing the skin along the way. Cut tomatoes in cube pattern as well.
Fry some onion on olive oil and minced garlic, and insert meat. Process it from all sides for around 10 minutes, after which you should insert the veggies. You can add broth of your choice. Wait until the ingredients soften, than remove from flame. Before serving, put some minced chive over the dish for extra visual delight and taste.
If you like hot tastes, you can spice things up with chili pepper, or use turkey meat instead of chicken.
