Reader’s Photo: On the Way to Blue Lake

Modro Jezero, literally translated as „Blue Lake“ counts as one of the most original terrains in Croatia. The water can virtually vanish in the hot summer months, leaving the bottom completely dry. That, however, wasn’t the case when our reader Igor Pezerovic visited the site, and took the photo above. An interesting Croatian tradition connected with Modro Jezero is a game of waterpolo by locals.
