Almost two millennia ago, Emperor Diocletian ordered a construction of a grandiose palace on shores of Dalmatia. The fascinating architectural achievement soon became the very heart of the region and a perpetual monument to Roman presence on the Croatian coast. People started to settle around Palace, eventually leading to founding of Split city. Even today, Diocletian’s home is a notable historic site, inspiring to photographers such as Hudini Foto Studio, whose members shared the photo above with us.
