Our reader and frequent media contributor Tihomir Grzincic has provided us with this original photo of Zadar scenery. The red-illuminated fountain might be in the first row, but the charming fort in the back steals the show. In distant 13th century, the building was a working residence of Zadar’s military commander, and is a part of settlement’s defensive walls. Today it is an art gallery, often exhibiting works of influential local artists.
