One of Sibenik‘s greatest attractions is the Cathedral of St. James. This cultural and religious monument is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Three Italian architects worked on the cathedral–Francesco di Giacomo, Georgius Mathei Dalmaticus and Niccolo di Giovanni Fiorentino–and built it entirely of stone during the 15th century. If you’re feeling peckish after you visit the cathedral, then grab a bit to eat a nearby local restaurant like Pellegrini konoba, pictured above. As you can see, this particular restaurant offers a stunning view of the historic cathedral, plus a great selection of wine!
