The Orinoid Meteor Shower

The Orinoid Meteor Shower peaks over the course of a few days around 22nd October. For this spectacular astronomical event we will be doing a night hike up to Sljeme where we will be staying out to watch the shower. Feel free to discuss astronomy or life in general while we are looking up. Leave whenever you wish, or stay with us all night at the top of the mountain admiring the heavens.

What to bring: Torch. Snacks and water. Wear warm clothing and good hiking boots/shoes. Bring a tent or hammock and a sleeping bag if you are staying out.

Where to meet: Dolje at end of Tram 15. Or the ski hut at 11:45pm if you make your own way there.
