About Vrsar

Surrounded with dozens of small Istrian inlets, the Croatian settlement of Vrsar is among the most popular localities of Adriatic Shores.  Having a prime water quality and a large number of great beaches, it is a summer destination of choice to many foreign visitors of Croatia.

Home of the renowned Montraker quarry, Vrsar has inspired artists such as painter sculptor Edo Murtic and sculptor Dusad Damonja. Both situated their ateliers in the vicinity, attracted to the beauty of surrounding naval sceneries.

Vrsar has a modern marina, an aeropark facility and old historical core. It annually hosts a number of unique events, including fisherman celebrations and a festival dedicated to world’s famous lover- Casanova.
