The second largest town in Istrian region, Porec is a locality with strong tourist infrastructure, numerous sport terrains and prime beach destinations. Known for a number of high-class resorts, it is among the most prominent places on Adriatic Coast.

Surrounded with old walls and towers, Porec is a home to old Gothic residences and noble palaces, while the local Grotto of Baredine provides a nice excursion point to Croatian underground. Visitors can also explore the local wine roads, olive oil products, traditional Istrian products and bicycle tracks.
