Skradinski buk is a natural water pool, surrounded by the high waterfalls and cascades of the Krka River. It is an internal part of Croatia’s Krka National Park. Experts agree that the amount of travertine limestone in its cascades is the largest in Europe.
If you decide to visit, consider staying in the nearby settlement of Skradin. Its other famous attraction is the 18th-century Visovac Monastery, situated on a small island in the middle of Krka.
