Let’s make something clear – this is not a classic travel site. Yes, you can find general info about Croatia and its destinations. Yes, you can book your stay and book a flight; we’ve made sure to offer that as well. But our primary idea was, and still is, to be your central place for ideas, tips, recommendations and advice on everything we like about Croatia.
When I want to go someplace I’ve never been before, I go to a local bookstore to buy a travel guide. And I look for more info on various websites. What I’ve found is that the most interesting and valuable information always comes from other people, whether it’s the experience of other travelers or first-hand information from the locals. It’s their advice that makes all the difference in the world.
Well, that’s something we are trying to do here. To give you info on where to stay, where and what to eat, what to do, where to go… but also to give you insight into all these things. Not just facts, but experience and advice by local experts, journalists and bloggers, spiced up with great photos by our own photographers.
